Exclamation Any precautions I should take for Stored FC?

Long story short. I have a FC that has been sitting, pretty much since May, it was moved a couple months after that. But it hasnt been touched since...I hope.

Its was in government custody. Anyways, the car is in Vancouver, BC and I need it to be shipped to Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Is there anything I need to worry about? I really have no idea of engine condition.

Any help would be great!

Thanks.

Braden

If you plan to start it I would make sure that it is lubed up before the engine is running. take the two trailing (top) plugs and shoot some Marvel Mistery oil in there and pull the fuel relay, make sure the battery is charged and crank it for about 2 min. Let the starter cool off for 5 min and crank her up. Should be fine after the oil burns off.

Im assuming your car is a JDM that didnt pass customs??

How much oil do you put in the trailing plugs?? Do i crank with the plug in or out?what other oil would work?

You shouldn't need to add oil or any type of snake lubricant to the chambers. Only if you have no compression, which you will know, and if so, then add oil.
