Any other free/cheap mods??

I'm running no power steering, TB mod, e-fan, no emissions, no air conditioning, e-5/6&VDI (still in the works).

I'm planning to do the fuel pump re-wire, fixing the wiper switch, and making it so the door doesn't unlock if you don't lift the handle (I HATE that thing), and I need to install my rear toe elim. bushings.

Is there anything else you can do to your RX-7 for $20-40?

I hear the sound damping material is all of 15#'s total, and really not worth the time/effort.

As per the intake porting, the intake on my car now is port-matched, the intake on my bedroom floor is getting port-matched, obstructions removed (2 bumps in LIM primary runners, 2 bumps in UIM secondairy runners, and the secondairy injector "seats" trimmed up a bit), spare nipples removed and filled w/ magnum steel, and last but not least, bead-blasted inside and out.

15#s is alot. Theres not too much else you can remove that will give you more than 15#s by itself. It adds up man.

Remove front tow points, front bumper reinforcement, front brake ducts, dashboard reinforcement (you will need to keep a little of it for mounting purposes), relocate battery, get a four wheel alignment, do a full tune-up, check TPS setting, port MAF sensor and adapter plate, make a cold air intake, put an insulator between the exhaust manifold and the rest of the engine bay, route cooling air to the exhaust manifold via the above mentioned insulator, remove misc. brackets from engine bay, remove cardboard kick panels on inside of passenger compartment (below doors under carpet), remove ECU mount plate and remount ECU on firewall, remove sound deadening panels below and behind seats (on the chassis where the back seat would normally go, under the carpet).

That is all I can think of off the top of my head.

I have PR Sleeves, waiting on the CAI, and when I do the CAI I'm removing the "brake ducts" for better flow to it. As per the "tune-up" the engine was just rebuilt; there's really no need for one. The alignment will wait until I get new tires (I have 2 different kinds of tires on the car) as to do everything at once.

As per the exhaust comment, my friend is working on making 2 full Ti (header to muffler) single exhausts.

This isn't an ITS car or anything, this is my daily. I would relocate my battery, but I need the storage bins for space (and plan on a very small stereo system that will use 1 bin)

Advance your timing a few degrees. You'll pick up a few horses, but you'll have to start running Plus or Premium fuel.
