Can any one ID what the adapter flange is for? By some miracle do you think it's S5 footprint?

LOL @ "super thick flanges" though
guess they have alot of stainless piping and TIG welders, but not a damn measuring tape in sight......
edit: you could weld on an S5 flange. Its just very difficult and tedious (to many welders impossible...but it *is* possible) to weld cast material.......
