Any interest in a FullRace Manifold for FC?

In my quest for a new manifold, I have been surprisingly dissapointed.

I contacted FullRace and asked if they made or had any intentions of making a manifold for the FC? They said if there was enough interest....Sure!

With that being said.......How many people would be interested in a high-end equal length manifold? Check out their site to see the quality of their work, flawless!

I'm working on making my NA turbo. Do you think this manifold would bolt up to a NA with a spacer as the stock one does?

There is an AUS place that makes a unit for the fc3s. I don't remember the link though.

With the prices they have for their 4 cyl engines i don't think it would be any better than asking one of the larger shops that do rotary to make us a manifold.

Ok...I know people make knock-offs. That isn't my point-

There manifolds are 2nd to none (except hy-tech, maybe) I am sure the fc manifold would be cheaper, since there is less piping. Once i have a leg to stand on, i could find out more info-

Just wanted to gauge the interest, so i could further pursue getting them made or having my own made for a small fortune-

Most FC owners are not willing to spend that kinda money.
I'd be surprised you get more than 2 serious buyers.

I agree
You will have a better chance of finding oil in your back yard then getting 10 people to dish out this kinda money for a manifold

SFP makes thick Steel Tubuler manifolds for FC's

Hassan has not shown any final production Pics of his SS design yet

I have some one here locally that fabricates all sorts of manifolds for any make or model
and does a real nice job(TIG)

The thing is my turbo placement might not work with you
I like using "BIG" Turbos and the compressor placement has to be pass the water pump and sits right under the top radiator hose

You might use a To4B, To4E or a 60-1 and want the placement near where the HKS cast manifold would sit the turbos

So in mass production manifolds there has to be a compromise between the small frame and large frame turbo placements to make everyone happy

Thank you-
When will SFP be releasing theirs? (South Florida Performance) Right?

here is a Pic of the manifold on a 3rd gen (SFP)
Mark57's FD

The Tubbing looks big only cause the thinkness of the material.... inside dia is smaller

This is with the Jet-Hot coating
BTW: Both Ari Yallon and Steve Kan (pluto)
use this manifold for there 9 and 10 second cars

ok ok
maybe in that pic it looked BIG lol

I think that was custom not a production model
since I have another SFP manifold pic
and it not like that

maybe one is older model of another?

I dunno why anyone would mess with that if the HKS units are very similarly priced...

I am guessing it would be more effecient- I'd much rather have an equal length tube over a cast stainless, just from my experiances with piston engines.

Kabooski-
Did he have any trouble with the jett-hot chipping? I have been running it on my other car with great results- I didn't know if from the heat a rotary puts out, it would chip?

I agree with that! I wasn't to fond of the way that was done- Maybe if you added a second pipe off the front.
