any chance this could NOT be a serious problem?-pictures

ok so i just installed this s5 turbo on my s4 engine. since my previous turbo bit a few seals befor i just chunked it. i've been running this for only 380 miles. and now i have oil in my stock placed greddy bov.
there is oil in my BOV. there is no shaft play on the turbo though. and the previous owner had no issue like this prior to my use
i am not boosting or driving hard concidering its a newly rebuilt engine with only 1380 miles on it

is there any chance this could be something else other then the turbo seals. any chance ANYTHING ELSE could be causing this?
charcole canister is hooked up properly.
the vac lines are hooked up correctly aswell.

Although there is minimal shaft play, if the turbo still has the original carbon seal on the compressor end it could be bad. I replaced my carbon seal with a dynamic seal when I rebuilt my s5 turbo.

yea, a rebuild isn't too expensive either. Like 180$ or so from most turbo shops.

That's pretty much what I charge to rebuild s4 and s5 turbos. The overhaul kit is around $80 and the rest is labor. If either of the wheels are chewed, replacement wheels and balancing are extra.

btw. after further inspection it seems to just be turbo blow by.
only reason why i notice it is because its a gapping hole of a bov. and i've been getting on it alot. i'm new to the turbo world.

Just for ***** and giggles, borrow a duck call from a hunter or find one of those wooden train whistles from a hobby shop and attach one or the other to the outlet of your BOV and see what happens. I've heard of people doing it and it's a riot!

EDIT:

If you do this, take a test drive and record a sound clip to share with us

well. blow by it is.. the bov isnt really oppening up . i think its set to hard.... soooo.. going to adjust that and see if that helps with the pressure, and keeps it from vibrating.

I think you mean TO4 time... And since you have the turbo out, you could go ahead and bridge port the motor... or PP...

Just kidding, looks like you at the least need some new seals in the turbo.
