Battery question for an s4

I know you guys are gonna laugh at me but id rather get it from the best...which wire is positive and which is negative...one is black with yellow stripes on it and the other is a double wire with a rubber thing over the terminal...my guess is thats positive and the black with yellow one is negative...which is which?

(Just making sure, don't wanna fry my electrical)

Well when you disconnected you battery what wire was hooked to the ground and what was hooked to the live wire??? Just because a wire has a rubber piece over it does not make it you positive.

as well 99.99% of the time the negative teminal is smaller then the positve terminal so the battery clamps are also smaller and larger...

I cant blame you at least for not wanting to hook it up wrong as it would cause a lot of probs...

If the correct battery is in place, the negative terminal will be the one nearest to the headlight, while the positive one will be the one nearest the shock tower.

For one it would fry all the grounds and i would have to rewire the entire car, 2 it would fry the ecu so i would need a new one and it would probably make the battery explode and god damn acid and plastic shards in my face.

Anyway I was right all along...thanks for confirming guys.
