Another wire identification thread
alright so I am nearing the final steps of my swap. The chasis and WIRING HARNESSES are s4 n/a the engine is s4 t2. I have some shady wiring I am trying to repair or replace or remove all together. The car has all emissions removed, power steering and air conditioning removed as well and battery relocated to passenger side bin.
the first one is a possible resistor? It is NOT the one that goes under/near the trailing coil as I have that one hooked up but it is identical to that one.

this second one is kinda shady and wasnt hooked up when I had my n/a so I am not sure where it goes. Both wires are black so I am assuming its a ground? possibly this goes into the resistor pictured above? They have the same kind of connectors and wire color

next is a sensor that goes into the bottom of the oil filler pedestal.

last (for now) I believe it is for the oil pressure sensor I just want to make sure

If you need more or better pics let me know. thanks!

First pic is a capacitor and there are two in the car, one for the trailing coil and the second one for the oil pressure sending unit. On a manual car it would be found bolted to the slave cylinder and plugs into the Yellow/Red (Engine harness) wire that comes from the sending unit.
In the second pic what is the color of the wire on the other side of the connector. It's obvious one side is Black, but what about the other side? Is it Yellow/Red?
Last pic is for the oil pressure sending unit as you are correct.

ohh yeah I dont need that because my wiring harness is set up for the power steering to the ecu any ways and not the knock sensor so I just clipped that wire at the harness anyways. lol
