Another sunroof question...humor me
Alright...so I got another sunroof assembly put in the 7 as the old one did not work at all (just clicked and you couldn't even open it with the manual crank) So...anyway, with the newer one in...it opens fine and closes fine except for the last bit where it drops back down...Just before it drops the passenger side corner get just slightly behind the driver's side and wont' close...I can bump the passenger side and itll go ahead and drop into place. What is most likely cause for this?
I don't get any clicking at any point...just at the very end the passenger side lags just enough to stop the roof.
Do I need to disassemble the whole thing...or is there something I can do from the top? I'm going to pick up some brake cleaner tomorrow to try and clean what I can from above and regrease what I can to see if that helps...but in the meantime, let me know if I have any other options aside from pulling the whole thing.

i'd make sure the tracks are greased properly. if the sliding assembly is getting hung up for any reason, you know you can't count on that weak *** sunroof motor to overpower it. if that isnt it, just take a look and see if there is anything different/damaged/out of place about the passenger side rail than the drivers.
all else fails, weld a piece of metal where the suroof used to be, turn that car into a track ***** and get a vert!
