ANOTHER rx7 NooB

First off dont spam me with stuff like your dumb and such just because i know nothing about rx7s and am intrested. A lot of website forums will have this happen you know. ANyhow..... I'm looking into getting a Rx7 an older one like 87 and was wondering about engine swaps could i swap a newer like 93 into it? Would this be wise and the difficulty. If its a dumb idea or cant even be done let me know and please suggest a new idea for engine swapping. If i should just leave the engine it has in it in then let me know that too lol. Ok thanks guy it's just iv been looking into lots of different cars and would really like to own a rx7. Iv never owned a rwd car and I'm getting pretty excited sorry ok thanks for all the informtion i get THANKYOU . btw its not that i dont know anything about cars im a BIG acura/honda guy but want something new.

Ekk.... Well you can't fit the Fd engines in it unless you wanna spend lots and lots of money... Why not just drop in a 13bt in the car? S5 engine preferably..

if u look at the top of this forum section there is a topic that says "faq for fc" the first question in that FAQ is a link to answer your question. since your a noob everything else you want to know is probably in that faq.

go for the 89-91 RX-7's if you want an FC (by the way FB= 1st gen (78-85), FC = 2nd gen (86-91), FD = 3rd gen (93-95)), most people will agree they are overall better. It's the kouki, or after minor change, or S5 model that has a stronger engine and better external appearance. www.FC3Spro.com is a great website, including a breakdown of many engine swaps like the one you've mentioned. the FAQ will also helop you sort out the FD, FB S4 S5 mumbo jumbo. good luck and dont fear the rotary!
