another redom question

Well guys, after a lot of family emergencies I'm back on my fc work. I just installed a full 3 inch dual exhaust with a test pipe. And was looking to upgrade injectors. I currently have a redon ecu, the sticker has been worn off and there's no writting on the case other then the redom logo and a random character. Just wonderig if the redoms were specifically tuned per car or if they where just the type a,b and c deal. I can tell that it has a fcd seeing as I hit 9 psi today on the express way. I want get a haletech or rtek but figured if I could get more info on this I might not have to upgrade so soon. My searching shows mostly fd stuff. The ecu is a n374. Any help is appreciated.

Just the different types. Each type was likely tuned differently; I had a Type "B" and it consistantly ran so rich that it blackened my bumper. The max boost on the sticker was .9x Bar. so about 14 psi.

I sent it in for the RTEK 2.1 upgrade and the sent me back the REDOM chip. I couldn't GIVE that damn thing away on here.

As far as I can tell with out a a/f gauge I'm not running too rich, but I'm guessing this couldn't handle 720 secondaries?

Doubt it... I'm running 550/550 and it was always in the 10-11's. The 720s would be even worse.

FWIW,

Type A is for cars with cats, Type B is for cars with no cats, and Type C is for cars with upgraded turbos.

The Ver 2.0 Redoms are designed for a max of 1.2 bar, and are intended to be run with the RE-A Response Cleaner, but I imagine any open-type filter will work. Can't say for the old ones, since they aren't on the RE-A site any more.
