Another quick injector question

Ok, I don't see any reason you couldn't do this but just asking to make sure. I have an 88 tII that i'm upgrading to larger secondary injectors. As of now I'm planning on going with a pair of 680's from a gsl-se (low imp). From what you guys are telling me...all I need to do is wire in a 10w 10ohm resitor in the line coming of the ecu to the 2 injectors to make them high imp.

Now, the question is...I heard that you're not suppose to run mixed injectors...meaning high imp. in the primaries (stock 550's) and the new 680's in the secondaries (low...wired over to high). I was told i'd need to do 4 680's and wire them all to high. Is this true, or am I safe just wiring the 2 680's over to high imp. and leaving the 550's alone? I don't understand why I would need to change all 4, but maybe I'm missing something. Anyway, enlighten me.

You can mix them it's perfectly fine and tons of people have done it. Just make sure you have the resistors soldered in on the correct wires for the secondaries.

Also make sure you have some sort of fuel control to tune those injectors down a bit, or you'll just run bulk rich and loose power.

550 to 680 secs is not a huge difference (no tuning) U'll run a little rich(er) but its kool.......i've done about 5 TII's

The factory mixtures are already very rich and you think making it 12% richer is okay? Excessively rich mixtures are not a good thing. Just because you've done it, doesn't mean it's the right way to do something.

yea...there will be an SAFC , so should be good there. Anyway, it's good to know I can mix and match them. Thanks for the info.
