another flooding question (searched)

Ok, so my car hasn't been flooding as much since I had learned about the cold start system so I try to prevent it, but the weather has gotten warmer, and now all of a sudden my car will flood after I park it even if I had been driving for 30 mins. or more and the car is warmed up. I was wondering if it could be the ECU or the fuel injectors, or if anyone else has had the same problem?

Leaky fuel injectors are, I believe, the most common cause of flooding.

Good luck.

fuel injectors are dirty and leaking or you have poor compression

Try something new and different. Get the engine hot and shut it off.

Go to the ECU, pin 3B. Remove it from the plug.

Now go drive the heck out of the car and stop and start it again. Drive around and beat on the car for an hour or so and stop/start the car several times. I'm guessing the car will start each and every time when the car is hot.

Just in case: A wire is removed from the connector/plug, by first removing the connector from the ECU.

Now look into the mating side of the connector. The side that mates with the ECU. Get a very small jewelers common screwdriver or a Very large sewing needle or equivilant and depress the plastic tab that is holding the wire in the connector, while you pull on the wire from the other side.

The wire should come out. Now put some tape around the bare wire connector and lay it aside, then put the connector back on the ECU.

FYI: This wires color is Blue with a Black stripe. It is in the small plug on the ECU. The wire is on the bottom row. It is to the far right on the bottom row. This wire has no other purpose in life other than to let the ECU know when your starting the car. We don't want the ECU to know that. We want the ECU to use the afm etc to determine fuel when you start, not that rich Fuel Map in the ECU.
