U can get a Jspec with turbo,ic etc
for 1k or less

ECU- There is a 89 TII ecu
but not the microtech

The sound system alone is well over 5k

Blown(bad motors)S5 TII's on Ebay with "decent condition" sell for 2.5-3K+

Trust me you would need to spend 15k+
to have a TII like that
and thats not going into the engine bay

With the custom sound system/dvd/
-mint interior-
gauges
steering wheel
seats
custom candy pained marble dash accents
suspension
cross drillled disks
wheels /tires
exhaust system (not a knock off )real N1's
newly rebuilt tranny with new syncros
(not advertised but I know)

Yes, which brings us back to the original point: Why the hell would ANYONE want to pay $4k+ for a non-running RX-7.

Why own a rx7 period?
You know there going to blow up
they dont make as much horsepower as the newer supras
there less custom parts (body kts etc) with FC's vs FD
they look dated compared to todays cars

Why? right

You see my POS? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in my sig
its a 87 S4 I bought for $600
with a blown motor (bare block)
no TII hood
no TII mirrors
no wing
faded paint
faded wheels/ worn tires/worn suspension

How much do you think I have spent?????????
getting another TII hood (mint)
mirrors
S5 front bumper
S5 rear bumper
S5 moldings
S5 wing
Engine rebuild and porting
T66 Turbo
custom tubuler manifold
NPR IC
IC piping
SX fuel regulator
Walbro FP
K2RD fuel rails
custom fuel lines
Microtech EMS
ACT exteme clutch kit
Mazda comp Tranny/diff /engine mounts
custom 3" exhaust system
Turbonetics 42MM wastegate
oils lines
HKS Race Bov
FD upper and Throttle body
Greddy FD TB elbow
Silicon hoses

How much?
Not even F'ing including labor

Now I'm stripping the F out of my car to get a custom painted and spend 2K+ on the interiror

Is it worth it?
cmon should it be better selling my FC and gettin a twin turbo supra or a nice single turbo FD

You don't know Jack what kinda money it takes to make a FC look good and haul ***

Mines going on E-Bay soon. I hope to get $1300 out of it, and $500 out of my DSC F717. That will get me the 1800 my buddy wants for his stock T2.

I got $605 for my DSC-F717 on ebay about a month ago. Had extras though.

I already have a TII though, I sold mine to get a DSC-F828.

Lol, if you think in any way that little shopping list impresses me, you're sadly mistaken. I've spent over $15k on my RX-7 myself, and I'm not even 1/2 done with the project. So pardon me if I don't drop my jaw. That being said, relax man. I wasn't commenting on the value of your RX-7, nor the personal value of anyone eles's RX-7. I just think it's effing ridiculus that they go for so much.

Kabooski is friends with him, yes I personally have seen this car up close and personal...and Let me tell you that it is a GREAT DEAL!!! The car makes everyone stop and crowd around it! It's SUPER clean! It really impresses and aws soo many people...I've seen it run at the track as well, so many people love this car! It is well worth it for the body, and then dropping a jspec in it! I wish I could afford the car with the motor that's in it though....damn that'd be nice, it runs low 12's high 11's droooolll

Lol, now I see why he took it personal. Kaboosk, sorry man. Again: I wasn't commenting on this car in particular, just FCs in general.

The car is certainly very clean. Looks well put together as well. Interesting cross-over routing of the IC piping. Have not seen that before.

I think it just sucks for any potential buyer, because he's not getting the nice engine with it

The guy wanted more for it. It didnt even meet the reserve!!

To me its not worth it unless it included the engine.

I think you are right. Why doesn't he try to sell the engine with it?

That car look's badass, I just think the gold should have been polished instead. On the auction it says he has 3 other FCs, the engine is probably going in one of those. Or maybe he sold it to someone else for like 3 grand, because he knew it couldn't get that out of selling it with the car.
