another 6port turbo question

I am trying to use the s4 tII uim & lim, but I was wondering what I had to do about the vacuum lines? The emissions are blocked off on the lim, but I know there are a couple of lines that run to the uim. Also, should I remove my egr valve and block it off ? I'm pretty much knowledgeable on the rest of the setup. Just stumped on the vacuum part. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks,

I havn't studied the t2 intake, but on my n/a there was a line that ran from the center of my lower intake manifold to the upper intake manifold that was needed for proper atomization of fuel. Since you don't sound smog legal as it is, you should be able to remove most of your smog equipment.

You'll need to do an emissions removal. Making the system work with the TII lower on the 6 port would take quite a lot of work. Plug up all unnecessary nipples and then just use the ones you need to.

Yes, block the EGR.

thanks for the help on that, but what about the actuator on the manifold itself? what does that hose go to?

The actuator on the exhaust manifold is the twin scroll. You will want to remove the twin scroll actuator and flapper, then tap the hole in the manifold and plug it.
