so whenever i start my car (when it starts) or put the key to the "on" position i get an annoying high pitch, constant beep. it sometimes goes away for a second... and its not like the annoying buzzer that you get with the low coolant light and such... its really annoying..lol...

any ideas??

Does your tach work? A month ago I had a hard time starting my car and after numerous cranks the engine started but the tach was dead and the speed sensor beeping came on when moving. Fearful of shutting the car off, I drove it home 30 mins with that annoying beeping and no tach. Got safely home, restarted the car and haven't had a problem since.

Ignition switch? ~rich

 

Could also be oil. That annoying buzz goes off when youre low on oil too so check that.
