Amost off-topic: Ski-rack for FC

Does anybody here have a ski-rack for their RX-7? I want to get one, but with such a small roof-print, I'm not sure that there would be any decent ones which would hold skis on the roof.

Are there any that people use which may be along the passenger side of the car or something?

I've just started picking up skiing (this past spring, at least), and now I want to be able to go on my own if desire tempts me enough. Thanks.

mods: if this should be in another forum, sorry, feel free to move it.

I've got a rack that kinda clamps to the passenger window ... Works fine.

Where do you go skiing if you don't mind my asking (Nashoba valley is pretty good if you are just beginning) ?

Wasn't there a ski-rack available from the factory?

I think it would be cool to have one clamp to the hatch like Roger Moore's Red Lotus in that one Bond movie.

I will likely hit Nashoba, yeah. It's only about 40 minutes from my house. I did a good amount of skiing this past spring up at Attatach and Bear Peak. Good times.

Yakima makes a roof rack for the RX-7, expensive though.

I always just ran my skis from the back area all the way forward between the front seats. You can get up to about a 180 or so ski in that way.

Damn you bastards!

I use to live in NH and loved to go skiiing and biking.

BTW Arizona== not fun for biking unless you live up north. Down here is is all flat and ******* hot

I've always wanted to find/make a rack to hold my bike on my FC.

Ah.. then you probably don't want to hear about some of the spring skiing and snow boarding I did in March... where I drove back down home with the top down on my vert.

Of course then I had my skis in the passengers seat

The Yamika racks work fine. I use 'em for windsurfers etc. Use GOODLE to your advantage. Tule is another rack you might keep in mind.
