If you are doing burnouts, that is your problem. It is the front differential mount. there isn't a center one. there are 2 rear ones however.

I broke my front diff. mount 1 month ago. no more burnouts, no more breaking. and yes, I break 13s.

=)

Isn't this front diff mount the one many people replace w/ a piece of welded angle iron. I think thats what I've heard, but I'm still on stock turbo so no breakie for me yet...

Shane Racing makes a drag launch kit that replaces all the factory (read:crappy) mounts. Anyone ever had any experiences with it?

The kit from http://www.srx7.com/sr86susp.html costs $455 and it's described like this:
This is a kit with super duty urethane and hard rubber bushings that stiffens up the rear suspension points that allow the car to have wheel hop. It stops this wheel-hop and tightens up the rear.It is also a favorite for road racing RX-7's .Complete bushing kit and main differential mount included. It will replace the stock soft rubber rear mounts that twist and break with high performance cars.
I haven't talked with anyone who has used it, though.

I was talking to a mechanic earlier this year who works on a TII for drag racing, and he told a similar story. Diff's were pooching way too soon. They discovered that there was a *little* bit of play where the diff mount meet the body of the car. So they fashioned a spacer to tighten it right up. The trick works - they haven't snapped a diff since. Hope that helps...
