am i running too lean??
i ususally post on the 1st gen forum but you guys may be able too help me better.
i just put a 87 gxl motor in my 85 se. i have gotten it running and have a few questions. i had to use the ecm and harness from the 1st gen so i am running only the 2 stock 750cc injectors. i also rebulit the motor and did the mazdatrix 6-port template and used racing beats race exhaust template. this is the first rotory motor i have ever built so i am happy that it runs!
i am using the gxl intake so i can wire the other too injectors in but i am afraid that it will be too much fuel. it dose not seem to be any more powerful the the stock se motor befor i blew it. i have headers and a cold air intake and the ported motor so i think it should be alot faster than before.
if you have any advise i would like to hear it !

did you wire open the 5th & 6th ports or at least put the air pump and ACV back in and hooked up right?
If the auxillary ports aren't opening up, then you will lose alot of power on the top end. I know, mine are shut right now b/c i removed the air pump and nothing opens them now.

the auxillary port were left out. i know i will loose low end but mine seems to stop pulling around 6500 rpm. my old motor was stock and would pull to 8 grand with no problems.
