Question Greddy FMIC ?

installing the greddy intercooler kit but the two brackets that mount the bottom of the intercooler to the car are slightly diffrent one is a little longer and angled more than the other is this correct or sould they be the same

also dose any one have instructions that are in english

Dude, my brackets were the same way...i thought it was a mistake...what did you end up doing?

I forget which one went where but I had to bend the brackets like hell to make them fit/line up.

LOL, nice So, I guess it didn't matter two shakes where they went?

Santiago and I were working like hell on mine last night. Having problems with the third/fourth pipe and it clearing the battery. Well, it is my problem cause he wants me to relocate teh battery

I found mine weren't a direct fit either. I fought It hard for several hours (doing this by myself). What I did was bored out the holes much wider on the bracket to accept slack from ALL directions. Doing this allowed TONS more to play with. Result? An Install that looked to be done with ease and no labour.

Personally, I tried avoiding the brackets. Once you start doing this you lose the structural Integrity of the alignment of the FMIC - let alone the brackets get much weeker over time.

yes they are supposed to be different as subframe in place where it attaches too is not equal

I had to bend mine slightly to fit as well. I also had to expand the hole on one of the brackets.

nope they wouldn't warantee my bunk boost gauge out of the box either.
But I contacted the person I bought the gauge from and got them to replace it they claimed the warantee on my behalf.
you could try the same contact the organisation that sold it to you.

the brackets fit
the frame rails were diffrent and the kits all installed but had to have custom made ps lines
tried to bend them like every one suggested but one broke so had my own made

greddy did include instructions the wrong ones though

lots of cutting and bending
