I found mine weren't a direct fit either. I fought It hard for several hours (doing this by myself). What I did was bored out the holes much wider on the bracket to accept slack from ALL directions. Doing this allowed TONS more to play with. Result? An Install that looked to be done with ease and no labour.
Personally, I tried avoiding the brackets. Once you start doing this you lose the structural Integrity of the alignment of the FMIC - let alone the brackets get much weeker over time.

nope they wouldn't warantee my bunk boost gauge out of the box either.
But I contacted the person I bought the gauge from and got them to replace it they claimed the warantee on my behalf.
you could try the same contact the organisation that sold it to you.

the brackets fit
the frame rails were diffrent and the kits all installed but had to have custom made ps lines
tried to bend them like every one suggested but one broke so had my own made
greddy did include instructions the wrong ones though
lots of cutting and bending
