Am i just stupid or something?
ok... here's the story, i pulled out my tranny on my '87 TII and replaced the clutch, pilot bearing, T.O bearing, and shifter spring.. yesterday, i put it all back together (excited!!) i bled the clutch, put in some tranny oil... then finally i attempted to start the car... i started only for 2 seconds, then died... i did it several times!!!! anybody know why my RX7 is being mean to me??

...94% correct.
did the car have any problems before hand?
I don't know about any other members of this forum but every time one of my rexes sat for a couple of days without running they would give me hell to start up again. They usually flooded out. Do you know how to check/solve flood issues?
Resurfacing the flywheel shouldn't be a big issue...it certainly wouldn't account for the car dying repeatedly. What you need to do is crawl back under your car and check each individual wire to make sure everything is grounded propperly, and hooked up to the correct terminals. Also check to make sure your fuel lines were not damaged during the repair.
Check these out and get back with us.

They may be connected but leaking near the MAF sensor.

There is a number of things that you would have had to remove to do the clutch job. I would check to make sure all of the stuff you removed or disconnected is put back together. And it's a long shot; but maybe you need to readjust the clutch pedal.

Make sure your speedo is plugged up on the back, their clamps break easy, but they are a pain in the *** to get to, you will have to lay down on the floor, with your legs out the door, and manuever your hand through all the b.s.
