Lately this week I've noticed that when I start my car it smokes a little bit. Now, I just changed my oil(just a little over a week ago) about the time it started doing this. When I start driving it though, it stops. What would be the first thing to look for? Any help?

Does the oil level drop, and if so how many miles? If you have any type of converter in place, you won't see any oil after they(it) warms up.

 

is it white smoke? i can easily tell a difference between burning coolant (you'd be fucked if it were that) and burning oil.
