Thumbs up alternator and squeel fixed

first off i would like to thank Metallic_rock for all of the help that he has done for me. he saw my problem and offered to help me fix it. wel the problem was just bad grounding.

we went to walmart and bought some 8 gauge wire and then we made a new ground from the engine to the engine bay and then we ran the positive terminal to the b+ on the alternator. cranked the car and the volt are now better than before.

also my car had been squeeling really bad. i didn't know what the hell it was. well it was the fact that i had the SPACER on the FRONT instead of mounting it on the BACK. also the belt was shot. so just to reinterate the spacer goes on the back of the alternator mount instead of the frong.

he also had told me that i have a strait pipe to a glass pack that the previous owner put on there. so i was pretty happy about that. well just thought that i would say thanks to Metallic_rock for all the help. also so if anyone else has this same problem in the future.

ooh, yeah, the spacer in the front would definitely misalign your alternator..

That glasspack won't last very long with the heat a rotary puts out, just so you know.

When it gets really really loud It's not going to hurt anything, you're just oging to burn out the fiberglass packing material and it's going to be a muffler with no muffling

I use a magnaflow muffler on mine, its' too loud for the street, hurts my ears without a helmet.
