alternator pulley spacer
Alright, during my rebuild I did it all wrong. I basically took stuff off and put in a place in the garage, only labeling a few things. Anyways, in placing all these parts everywhere, I misplaced the spacer that goes between the pulley and the alternator. Its like a metal donut that looks like a cm thick washer. Basically, I want any ideas on what to put there instead, or where I can get one by tomorrow. Anyone know if the dealer stocks them, or if I could find something similar at home depot? Anyways, I am taking suggestions, I have everything ready to put in and start up my rebuilt motor, except this really... please help!

edit: I have a dual pulley now, if that makes a difference.

oops, now i feel stupid. I was talking about the haynes man. not fsm, but to make it even worse, it doesn't even mention it afterall. Only the nut and "bush" which i assume means the washer that goes with the nut. I don't know, maybe mine was added on later or its an off brand alternator, but mine for sure had a spacer on it when i took off the pulley. Anyone else know what I am talking about? maybe im just insane...and sorry for the attack on you earlier hIGGI
