Alternator bushing

I lost the little bushing that goes on the alternator bolt in the bracket, what size is it so I can go to autozone and pick up something similar.

Thanks

Sean

Just hold the alt there and measure the gap, problem solved!

Should be the same bolt size as the other 14mm + bolts.

If you get Stuck, use a couple of washers..the Bushing,If I am not mistaken goes in the Back area of the Alternator, between the bracket..So,My Reasoning is that the Alternator won't be "off" as far as Pulley Location,as the front of the alternator sits against the Bracket.CHEESE..if you need the part #,Let me know, than I can look it up and send it to you.You can then Order it From your Mazda dealer..

On my 88 the bushing was so dry rotted it flaked apart. I just used a few washers in its place. Been installed like that for 4 months with no problems.

It's just a solid hunk of metal. In a pinch you could jimmy something up like washers, at least until you get another.

Mine was rubber. Or used to be... Maybe from an old reman alternator kit from a previous owner.
