Alternative to Smog pump?

I am de-tuning my favorite 7 to be street legal. I really don't want to add the smog pump back. I just spent a bunch of cash on a custom stainless exhaust and cat. I don't want to ruin the new cat by not giving it enough O2.
Is there an electric pump that would work. I think it would be lighter as well as have slightly less drag on the motor from not adding another belt and resistor.

i have two motivations for wanting a smog pump. I need to pass inspection, and I am trying to live green. If I can't make my 7s greener, I may have to get rid of them.

Thanks

Look into an LT1 (as in the GM engine) 12 volt smog pump, available on ebay.

So, I went to U Pull It yesterday and found three LT1s. But I could not find a smog pump.
Can anyone tell me where they might be located on the car? I know it's a long shot seeing as how this is a 7 forum.
Thanks
