alright to run with no heat shields on my turbo?
i just ported my wastegate on my turbo and when i reinstall it i don't want to put my heat shields back on because it makes it harder to take off the next time i want to get a turbo blanket (wrap) but i need to spend my money on hoses, plugs bolts ect... first so i want to know if it is alright to run my t2 without heat shields for about a month until i get money it isnt daily driven just acouple times a week for under a hour at a time just makin sure because i don't want my hoses and all to dry out and crack also where is some places to get a turbo blanket for cheap but it works great

I've got no heat-shields on my turbo setup and have experienced no negative side-effects...
But then again, I've got nothing to compare it to.
My other 'more experienced' friend is also running no heat-shields on a similar setup and he doesn't seem to think there's any problems with it...
I wouldn't worry about it.
