Alright Guys, need some advice.

Well, here's the deal. I have a 10 AE and I love it to death, but I've really been looking at getting an S5 TII. Now if you were me what would you do?

I think that I'd like an S5 TII more, mechanically as well as aesthetically, I love the S5 front. My 10 AE is in good shape but I'm afraid I can't have em both. Should I sell my 10 AE and go for the S5 TII, I'm really just looking for more stock power to build off of, and from what I've been seeing it is also a lot easier and generally cost effective to get parts for an S5 rather than an S4.

Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

S4 turbo iis are better for modding. Stronger internals, a more basic engine (kind of), and lighter. S4's and parts for them are WAY more common than s5 parts (but many are interchangable). Just go grab the bumpers and trim off a s5, and paint your car one solid color. Nuff said

S4 stronger internals?? I think not!
slightly lower compression, so people who can tune a car can run slightly more boost....

S5 TII has a FAR more superior engine than an S4 TII does. The S5 TII engine is pretty close to a 13B-REW core actually.

You know it!

Monochrmatic White 4 life!
heh

So really, I talked it over with a few of my buddies here in town and I'm pretty much set on keeping the 10 AE, not that they are rare or anything (5 of them on ebay right now) and that I have a perfectly good TII already.

dr0x is right, I'll just snag some S5 body parts and stick em on there. Which leads me to my next couple questions. Is there a place that does knockoff S5 parts? or am I better off looking for an S5 parts car? Will the parts fit right on to my car? I don't mind doing a bit of grinding, and I'm fairly good with bondo when I have to be.

Or maybe a kit that looks pretty close to the standard body, I really like the S5 stock aero. I was looking at the Corksport Border knockoff kit and it seems to be reasonably priced. I live like 20 minutes from Corksport so there would be $0 shipping on anything. Anyone had any experience with them?

Any and all replies/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think that you should keep the AE the way it is, but thats just me. Corksport has a good reputation and makes quality parts.
