Sideways7, you're a very helpful person, but I'd like to make a tiny suggestion. Not EVERYONE knows what you mean when you ask "Do you have lots of bubbles in the filler neck?". So explaining it in a tad more detail would be good.. Nothing spectacular, just a 'check to see if there are any bubbles in the coolant at the filler neck, with the car idling.' Other than that, you're a helpful guy. Keep up the great work.

If there's a leak in the cooling system and pressure is getting out, that could be why it's overheating.

There shouldn't be anything coming out of the filler neck, even if all the parts are bad. Did you use a new gasket when you replaced the t-stat? If not, that could be the problem.
This thread has a very good list of what to check for bad coolant seals: http://aaroncake.net/RX-7/overheat.htm

then why the **** did you just post a thread saying it's spraying out the thermostat?? nobody here is going to be able to help you unless, you go out there and figure out exactly where it's leaking from. then tell us and then and it can be discussed,

Check out the link I posted in another of your threads. If it doesn't have white smoke and bubbles in the filler neck as described in the link, then your coolant seals are fine and the problem is somewhere else.

All 4 threads merged... only start one thread on a subject! And there is no need to start 4 in one night all on the same thing!

actually pretty ******* rude to do so!
