Almost too good to be true

I just found an ad for a 7 that's close buy. herre it goes

"Car has about $15,000 worth of work done to it... The car was rebuilt 2 weeks before I took it off the road... the motor has a street port and about 500 miles on it. Full MSD ignition NGK plugs and wires, electric fan. custom intake, Racing beat long tube racing header, custom 3" exhaust, Apexi N1 gt spec race muffler (w' silencer), New bushing all around. Aluminum fron a arms. NEw tranny, A.C.T. stage IV race clutch, short shifter, new rear (posi) New paint, New rotors (cross drilled) new callipers, new rims, '91 interior, New tokico adjustable gas shocks , New springs, and misc other things"

they're asking $3000
Now, to me I immediately think "what's wrong?" Is this too good to be true? I plan on checking it out within the week.

If it's really only $3000 I'd say go for it. Call the guys now, and don't stop calling and bugging them until you have the car

Hmmm... you can look at this 2 ways...

$3000 is a LOT of money for a 1986 NA.

$3000 is a pretty good price for everything he has done to it.

If it's in good shape, it might be a fun car to own.

Sounds like a BS ad...
There is no such thing as a "A.C.T. stage IV race clutch".

OH I feel sorry for you....I saw that ad and had a person on this board check the car out for me and take pics. After communicating with the owner for several weeks, he is not only a lying 19 year old kid, but I wouldn't buy the car for $500. I have many many reasons behind this that I rather not go into in public, but basically myself and my friend who checked out the car caught this guy Bullshitting several times, and if he BS's on most of the stuff, god only knows what else he's lying about. Also he has yet to product any receipts for "all this work" done. PM me for more info.....
