MA Almost done with mechanical built but...

Hello adn thank you for reading my thread.

Ok first off i'm new to the rotary and my car is a 1991 convertable. This is my first rotary and first car ever so please bear in mind that all auto mechanics is new to me(for the most part I know general rotary knowleadge and if I don't I'll be sure to ask/search).

Ok now with that out of the way here's what I did so far.
De flooded the engine.
Replaced: starter, thermostat & housing spark plugs and wires, coil packs. tps.
Full tune up
Was going to have the codes read but the shop couldent and they fixed the idle and said it was in artic idle and the screw was jammed.
Re grounded the major 5 ground wires with Aaron cakes guide.

The problem I'm having now is the major bucking when driven. I think it's a spark/electrical problem. So I was messing arround with it on my street and when I played the top of the clutch arround 2k rpms it ran smooth untill 3k, then I played the bottem and shot right up to 4k, and I did it with 1-3rd gear then I ran outta road lol. If I don't play the clutch it constantly bucks and won't get past 2k rpms. If I'm Missing anything I'll post it. Please any help will be greatly appreciated. I need her up and running I'm moving, I have a busy year ahead and I need a running car.

were about would that be and anything i should know befor i start snooping arround?

A friend of the family came over to night and drover her arround. he said that it could be the injectors, sence they havent been changed in 20 years. Dose that sound like something that would cause bucking around. Also theres horrable afterburn arroung 2.5k rpm wich would also lead towards injectors?

Might as weel clean them. IF you want a reliable car for years to come you should clean these anyways.

I have been running arround all day today and I should have some time Sunday to get in there. He also told me to replace them. Where is there a good place to get a price and idea of what I should get IF I SHOULD or just send them out to get cleaned.

Sorry if some of my posts are messy because there on my phone.

what i did to fix my TPS due to a stuck spring inside was i sprayed WD-40 around the plunger and worked it in really well then blew it out with the air compressor. Still works after 2k miles. Before it did exactly what you described

I sent my injectors out and had them cleaned. All were OK but if one is no good you can just replace it.

Ok I'm still looking arround for injectors, but today a friend brought up the catalytic converter. It seems to fit the symptomes. I think it's worth at least a look. Right?

My TII had clogged cats when I got it and you could drive it around if you kept off the gas. Prob not the problem if it won't drive while just cruising. Also I can't remember where my injectors were sent off but at the time I had a guy working on it and he sent em somewhere. I would ask him but we don't talk anymore.

Could be a vaccuum leak as well, I'd go ahead and check the fuel filter and pump as well, they could be clogging up.

btw the FSM is retarded. I don't see how the hell you could ever get the TB off without taking off the UIM.

In this picture did you unplug that injector or was it unplugged when you started pulling stuff off? Also if you end up getting them cleaned I recommend Witch Hunter Performance.
