I went to the junk yard yesterday to get my intercooler off a volvo and someone stole it! Now I need all of your guys knowledge to tell me what intercoolers from what cars there are that I could get and use as a front mount. Also would it be very smart to put a talon eclipse intercooler on it? the problem is they look really small and if they are would it be very efficient to just put two eclipse intercoolers on it?? thanks for all the help

Sorry I can't answer your question, but hey I want to help a fellow RX-7 guy from Indiana! I know of alot of junkyards around the Indy area, you might be able to find another Volvo IC?

A Starion cooler seems to be a popular upgrade. Look for one of those.

 

I heard that some of those Isuzu ICs work, I just don't know from what autos

 

AHH the isuzu truck IC. They are the big box trucks with the little cabs. Smaller than a semi. Isuzu NPR is the truck. Looking at the front of the truck, on the right hand side above the lights you'll see a label that says "Intercooled" or er.

if you go to my website you'll see the big npr installed. i'll post pics of the small npr that we installed in a t2. i don't think the big would work on a stock car but i do know the small one does. If you buy it new from izuzu its about 400 for the big or small. i believe the trucks started being made in 93'. the volvo ic your talking about is out of a 740 turbo 4-door family car.
