I didn't know people still built wooden barrels. I guess up in hicktown kentucky there isn't much more to do, though...

Make an announcement when it runs. Until then it's just holding the cat litter from spilling...

It doesnt help when your rebuilding the engine on top of a bucket of kitty litter.

Well the bag of arm and hammer didnt hold up too well to the weight of the engine so we had to step it up a notch to the plastic bucket off tidy cat. It held up pretty well. We even torqued down the flywheel nut with it sitting on there!!
looks realllllyyy good. just please make everything on the engine and in the bay as clean too otherwise itll be sort of a waste to have that purrtty of an engine.
by the way, what did you use to paint it? and what did it cost?

I could send you a 5 gal. bucket, but you don't need the adapter plate to build and engine on the stand. You just need to pull out the studs from the front plate, where the ps and ac bracket mounts, and then use long bolts throught the mounting arms on the stand.
Funny part is, the engine is almost perfectly balanced and requires little effort to rotate.

The engine looks great tho, just needs a chassis to match.
