Are all FC's Turbo?

I did a search and couldn't find anyone answering the question. I was wondering if all FCs are turbo, and if not, which ones are?

Icemark just posted a FAQ on FC's at the top of this section. But a quick answere would be that FC's come in 2 series, series 4 and 5 both have turbo and non turbo models and there features vairy a little. The s5 89-91 have more hp.

if it has an intercooler its turbo

and most FCs have top mounted intercoolers
or just look for intercooler pipeing
or better yet look for the tubo on the passenger side of the engine.

well, most FC's outside the US are turbo's. I believe the UK has non-turbo's like North America but I think all of Australias FC's and Japan's were TII's.

~note to self ~ install intercooler piping in hatch and claim to have turbo.

Most FC's in the US are n/a. (although many people seem to keep trying to change that) We have a turbo deficit.

FC3S is the vin for turbo cars, yes, but not all originally turbo FC's are still turbo'd.

N/a's are FC3___

Well i used to have an fd had to sell it because of the cost and some other issues. I've been hearing alot that the fc is much more affordable, and I've always liked the way the fc looked too. If i wanted a turbo fc which year should i be looking for, and for how much should i be looking to spend?

Get an S4 TII. FC's are usually roughly well under half the cost in terms of the cheapest FD. Plus insurance is not as bad as FD's.

You may not like it since you're going a step down but your wallet will be happy.

Most people assume they are Turbo who dont know what RX-7s are. I cruz the local strip in St. Paul Minnesota and Every ricer down there is afraid to race because they think a GXL is Turbo...hehe
