Has anyone happened to hear about or run an alcohol injection on their turbo fcs? what exactly does it do?

I am currently set to run the SMC Enterprises Alcohol injection setup. Its a boost progressive alcohol delivery system. Spray is set to come on about 7 PSI and max at 15. The kit is here, just has not been installed.

From what I have been told, spraying alcohol raises the octane of the fuel, and cools the intake charge.

So you can run higher boost and not have the fuel mixture ignite before TDC

Octane doesnt increase horsepower but it DECREASES the chance for detonation.

Got some smart people here!!!

Raising the octane on a boosted rotary (expecially one like mine), can allow you to run higher boost pressures, and a more aggressive timing curve, by preventing pre-igniton.
