Ok here's what I've got going on. I have a Clifford Intelliguard 900 IQ I am installing into my 86 FC. The alarm itself has what's called "NightVision" on it and will turn on the headlights when the sensor detects it's dark enough outside. Now normally, turning on the headlights is the easy part on most cars, but in this case there is also the popup headlights to be concerned with. The alarm itself puts out the +12v to connect to the lights to turn them on (alarm has an internal relay, so it's a power source not just a small +12v signal). My question is how do I get the popup lights to work with that so that my headlights just don't end up turning on and shining through my FTP lenses. Just an FYI, the parking lights are already taken care of through another internal relay the alarm has.

You would need to invert the signal with a relay to turn on the headlights

 

There are 2 different power sources. One for the lights and one for the "pop up" feature. Just wire them together to the relay.
