Airpump removal

Ok I know Im gona get FLAMED for this question, but Ive gota ask

I am currently removing my airpump. I acuired a dual alt pulley so I got that area covered. I did a search here to find out what all i can remove. I really dont care to remove the rats nest for now. I am kinda confused on what to actually remove. Some people say dont remove this part and some say remove this part. Can someone list what all i should/can remove? I want to clean the engine bay up a bit and make it a little easier to work on the car as well. Thanks for the help and sorry for the idiotic question.

is it an s4 or s5? Its really for emissions purposes and if its an s5 then its what opens the 5th and 6th ports. Just remove the AIR PUMP and ACV. But you'll need a block off plate for the ACV. Mazdatrix sells them or you can make one yourself. Im pretty sure that should be it.

you will also need to get rid of the cat, as running with no airpump will cook it. You can get a modern aftermarket one that can take the heat if you want to be environmentally responsible.
