So as Im driving trying to lean out the fuel my pump blows, do I stand a chance with high HC and CO% with just a lean car and alcohol?

No airpump is NOT going to help you much. I suggest getting a new one, I'm sure you can find one at a junk yard or someone to sell you it, most people just throw them away.

But it is definitely going to be more difficult to pass without one.
