Air Pump Removel On 87 Tii

Air Pump Removel On 87 Tii
I'm just a beginner with rotaries & need some help. I want to remove my air pump what do i do with the hose from the air pump to engine, do i just plug it. And what else do i have to do other then just take off the pump. Thanks Tony

Nurse I need 1300cc's NOW
plug the tubes, remove the pump , and the bracket and belt. thats the basic removal,., after that there is the ACV, air muffller, Egr, Split air tube. alot of stuff that has to do with the air pump.

ACV blocked off.
I removed the air pump, bracket, and obviously the belt. Then removed the 3 nuts holding the acv. Blocked off the little metal vacuum lines. Split air pipe should also be blocked off since its now useless. EGR in not directly connected but it is also now useless. 2 nuts and one blocked off vacuum line.

remember you do not want to remove the airpump if you are running with cats. The stock cats will overheat and melt without the air pump.

Ha guys "thank" any more advice and pic. would be great. Icemark i'll be getting in touch with you sometime down the road to send you some stuff to repair logacon. wiper swicth, idiot light & clock. Thanks Again Tony

So Im just checking to see if im right on all this If I get a downpipe and cat replacement pipe I will be able to take off my air pump, EGR, ACV, and split airpipe with no problems everything should work as normal????
