air pump removal ?

i have a rb turbo back exhaust but i still have the air pump cause of the belt. it makes a f**ked up sound though, the pulley that is. i have to hit it with wd40 every once in awhile. the damn thing sqweels so damn much. im about to order the altenator dual pulley soon.

i was wondering can i take off the air pump and use it with the one belt, are any of you guys using one belt.

i have heard of slippage if using the one belt. what are some of you guys doing about this.

I've been running one belt for several months now. At first it squeeled, but I tightened it down, and its fine now.

If your going to remove the belt you might as well just take out the air pump to cause it would save some weight.
