Looking for an FC

I am looking for an 89-91 FC T2 but they are quite hard to come by in my area. I found a few but they are well over 100k. I read somewhere to be weary of these. Anyway, I was thinking of GTU and dropping in a 13BT. Im pretty sure it can be done, but theres only the cost factor to consider. I have at most 6-7k to spend on the car and the motor, but Id rather start out with a reliable ride. I would like more detail on 13BTs in GTU, and what are the differences between GTU,GXL, and T2.

You know, I just poked around in the ForSale sections in this forum, and there were a bunch of cars in the Bay Area - at least ONE 89-91 Turbo II that was forsale.&nbsp Is that too far?

if you don't have an rx7 and you want a turbo one, BUY A TURBO ONE!!! it will be way cheaper then trying to make a non turbo into a turbo, not to mention it will run...

well how are the 100k T2s? They should still run decently right? How much does a rebuild go for?
