Air Pump Question

Is the air pump really needed for anything important on a stock 90 N/A GTU? I'm asking cause the mounting bracket is broke clean through and for the most part all I see it goin to is the exhaust

if you still have catalitic converters they will clog without it. you als o have an s5 so your auxilary ports are actuated by the pump so you will have to find another way to actuate them.

Or you can say **** the aux ports as I have and wire the VDI wide open. You'll lose about a quarter of your lowend torque and drivabillity but the top end will rock all thee same.

Oh yeah...cats thing is true. Without it you'll **** the cats...the coverter kind and any that happen to be sleeping near by...that's smelly.
