Unhappy Rebuild Wont Start

I just did some what of a top end rebuild on my engine took it out all the stuff. I got it back together today finally took weeks lol. When I go to start it it just spins and drains the battery. Thinking it was fuel pressure i check that and there is fuel getting to the rails. So I took the spark plugs out and noticed there is no spark. I also notices there was no fuel on the plugs before I had been flooring the pedal to try to get it to start so there shoulda been a lot of fuel on the plugs right?

I think the issue is with the ignition system what parts should i check while the car was being taken a part I had to hook the battery up to roll my window up and there was smoke and i blew some fuses. I checked the Eng Ing fuse and it seems to be ok. Any sugestions?

Check the motor fuse under the dash, then check all fuses on the driver side strut tower. Is your CAS plugged in? If you forgot to plug that in, no spark, and your injectors won't fire! If it's plugged in, check to make sure it's not loose/dirty connections/etc.

Also you have to realize that rebuilds are NOT easy to start, check out Kevin's site (http://www.rotaryresurrection.com) Under the tech section for info about starting a rebuild.
