air pump hose
i might have posted this already but i think it errored.
on our cars, the air pump goes to a valve, i dunno what the valve is called or what it does exactly. but then theres a hose coming out of that valve and leads to a canister under teh passenger side headlight. has anyone ever disconnected that hose from the valve opening and run their engine? it sounds like a lawnmower just got stuffed into your engine bay. its louder than the engine and quiets down slower. anyways, just wonderin what that valve is and if anyone likes the noise it makes when you take off that hose.

it is the air control vavle. depending on RPM and gear it directs air from the air pump either towards the cat, into the exhuast ports of the motor. or it gets dumped down that line to a "muffler" under the headlight. yes it's loud without it.
