Arrow air pump???????????and emissions

ok first off i bought a 88 non turbo it dosent start i narrowed it down to the water seals... beaing that it doesnt start and when i cank it lots of white smoke comes out the exhaust, and lots of air bubbles in the overflow.

so im going to be pulling the engine out.
i have looking into removing all the emmision parts fromt he engine, i tried searching on here for specifics but could not find any. then i found the rotaryresurection.com has a big how to on removing all of it.

my question is. ont he airpump its self in the engine bay its say DO NOT REMOVE NO OILING, does this mean that i will have toadd 2 stroke oil to my gas tank everythime i fill up. or what does it mean. is there anybody that has removed all the emmisions that can give me some tips...

i know it does nto increase that much HP im just looking to clean up the engine bay.

or if there is a thread on this please post link. but i did try search first before i posted, and did not findin anything more then what was said on rotaryressurection.com

Oh God!..
Ok I will help you.
the Air pump has that sticker because the Pump is part of the emissions equipment. If you are Removing it,then you must not need it where you live.Do you have to Pass Smog?
the "no Oil' Part refers to: DO NOT oil this Pump,INSIDE,as it is an Air pump and will cause it to clog up and seize
If you are "removing Emission equipment' from the engine, then I suggest you start reading What Parts are Removable, what they Do,and what the overall consequences will be when you do it.
If you take off the OMPoil metering pump and Lines, and their associated Injectors) then you have to put in some 2 stroke into the gas,Because the Engine Needs to be lubricated somehow or it will Seize.
On an s5 you can't remove the Pump as it is Electric and hooked up into the ECU,and taking it off will cause the car to go into Limp mode(run Like ****.)
......READ my friend..just don't start Tearing the engine apart and not know what the heck you are doing.I suggest you start in the SEC GEN ARCHIVES section.Find out what does what..Or That car of yours?,it will just make another Great Lawn ornament!.
Cheers,and welcome to the Forum.STYX!

cool man thanks... you were a big help... i havent started tearing anything apart yet, i wanted to ask about what all is involved in doing so. other then what is shown in this page.

http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2n...s_removal.html

as in my original post it states that i ahve an 88 so therefore it is not an s5 rather it is an s4. so your in your post it says on an s5 you cant remove then pump,is irrelevant.

smog is not an issue. this car will not be my daily driver.
