Air Pump Bracket bolt thread?

I've decide to move my MBC from passenger shock tower to one of the bolt holes for air pump bracket (air pump removed). Is the bolt M8x1.25? That seems to be what all the 12mm bolt heads are, but before I force the bolt or try running a tap through it I figure it's best to ask if I'm even using the correct tap.

I looked here but didn't see the bolt I need.

couple of crazy ideas.(just about bed time..so I'm fuzzy..!)
..compare the hole with other bolts you have to see if the bolt fits.
..make another bolt fit with a tap.
OR just use a smaller size bolt, pass it through and nut it on the other side!

Unfortunately I had the waterpump housing powdercoated and didn't have the holes covered before.... because I never thought I'd use those holes. One of the three I had tapped before powdercoating for my aftermarket water temp sender. The other two have their threads in a nice coating of melted powder.

I could retap the hole, but the housing is on the engine and it's probably not worth the effort of drilling and retaping. If it becomes too much work I'll simply put the MBC back on the shocktower. Now if I can simply run a tap through it to clean it up, or ruin a bolt using it as a tap, well I'm ok with that.

Can't run a smaller bolt through it and put a nut on the other side. They are sealed holes. Though I did give thought to trying to get a coil in there and using a smaller bolt, one of the 10mm bolts, I can't remember what thread and pitch they are. Probably like a M6x1.5 or 1.25.

HEHE

I found my thread indicator and found that it was small enough to fit in the bolt hole (crazy how they design things that way, huh??) So then I felt safe running a tap through it till it was cleaned up.
