AIR operated 6PI, anyone familiar??

Ok, im about to convert my 88 SE over to the AIR pump actuation of my 6PI.

now, on Burnttoast.net site, or whatever it is. it says to use the garden hose T w/ valves, and 3/4" hose and whatnot. im gonnna use this method instead of the RPM activated switch. but, my question is, do i NEEEEED to remove the ACV and block it off w/ a plate?

if so, who sells this plate for cheap? or, can i make it out of aluminum stock?

also, anyone got a pic of where the AIR pump output hose is supposed to tap into the Split air pipe?

will i need to plug the end of my AIR pipe where it used to enter the cat?

i basically need a more explanitory walk-thru than Burnttoast could offer me. id like to do this in one afternoon if i could, i cant afford much down time, this is my only mode of transportation right now.

thanks
chris

did it, they operate now. but, no matter what, they always open up at 2k.

i spliced in a garden hose Y splitter, w/ the ball valves between the pump and the ACV. and then i have a hose going from the Y to the nipple where the Split Air pipe used to attach. now, even w/ the valve wide open going to the ACV, and the valve for the 6PI nipple closed, they STILL open at 2000, what the hell is the problem w/ it now?

also, my rear 6PI sleeve is sticky. i can move it by hand, but not via Air pressure. do i just remove the actuator, then the small plate w/ 2 screws to get at the sleeve? it should just pull out after the small plate is removed right?

also, do i need to supply AIR to the ACV, or can i just close that valve, and divert ALL the air to my new splice? cuz, w/ everything connected, i can hear air escaping. i have a feeling, its coming from my disconncted Split Air pipe (no main cat anymore).

i wonder, can i somehow use the AIR pump to 'supercharge' my engine???? hehe

i have a feeling, when the RPM climbs, the air pressure in the AIR pump climbs high. i doesnt seem like it goes up to 2 PSI, and stays there...it blew the hose off the outlet on the Y one time, sounded like a Blow off valve (Wasnt clamped yet)... it went PSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHhhhhhhhh.
