Air Mix Motor Rod Stuck?

My heater isn't working properly....It blows only cold air....I replaced the logicon today and that didn't fix my problem. I noticed that the linkage/rods that are connected to the motor don't move when i move the temp slider on the logicon. I read that some ppl have rigged up hangers to the linkage as a temporary fix to get heat. The linkage should move down when the slider is moved to heat correct? I tried tugging on mine with my finger and it doesn't budge. What else can i do?

on my old fc i unhooked the rod and with the car on and pulling vac you can simply reach under there and pull it down and it will stick till the car is off. thats about as far as i can get with the pos logicon. someone on here used to rebuild them but i cant remember who it was

I got it fixed...i disconnected the rod and pulled it down now the heats flowing thru again. Im not gonna bother with hooking a hanger in...its winter. I wont be needing cold air any time soon
