Air Mix Motor check

Okay, so I have sweat blood and tears and gotten the logicon and the air mix motor out of the car. Logicon is being rebuilt because it fails to operate the blower motor. I know this because I can tap the logicon and the blower will start spinning.

Anyways, that is not the problem. What I am looking for is which pin(s) to test on the actual motor to see if it is bad as well. I am looking through the FSM, but I think I am confusing myself more than anything. If you anyone could provide some guidence on which pin(s) to check to determine if the motor is good or not, I would appreciate it.

If you could tap the logicon and get the motor to come on, why do you need to see if it works? Sounds like it does...

No, no... that was referring to the blower motor. That is why the logicon is being rebuilt. Rereading my original post, maybe I was not clear. The air mix motor is what I am trying to test. I am not sure if the logicon is at fault or the air mix motor or both.

Do a search with my name and "air Mix Motor" and you should find the tests that I have posted several times

I found that guide. I already pulled the air mix motor out of the car. Oops... Do you happen to know which pins to test if it is just sitting here in front of me?

I thought maybe Mark would help you, since he's the logicon guru, I've got the schematics handy, but not the FSM, so I can decipher this much...

The blue wire is your power input
The black wire is your ground
The green/yellow, white, and yellow/black look like door position switches, that send info back to the logicon

So, you could try applying power to the blue, ground your black (or use a "negative" wire from a battery), and see if she moves....

I guess I am not understanding... you don't have the wires available??? They are all in the G04 connector which is the 17 pin plug, and none of the colors repeat in the plug.

But with the motor out of the car, you just have a 5 pin connector, with no colors to go off of, is I think what he's saying.
