Air filter w/heatshield?

I need a filter that has an inlet and an outlet. Mainly to hook up a duct on the other end for cold air.

This one costs $25 usd, but i was wondering where i can get a better brand name than ractive lol Last thing i want is ractive or apc products coming anywhere near my car.

Any reason why you can't either make a box in that area, or move the filter to where the cold air source is? What are you planning to do here?

Don't you allready have an intake?

nope no intake. and i don't want to fabricate a box. it'll look half assed... besides... making it sealed will be a biatch.

what i'm planning to do is route the hose accordingly... and after the hose is routed, i want to cover it in fiberglass, take it out, and use it as a model for some mandrel bent aluminized steel piping.

that filter, well hell that design of filter cant flo near as much as the stock one... there is no way.

either buy the K&N cold air box for the FC or make your self one.

its a cool idea but who cares if its cold air if there is not much of it.

Well its either that or keeping the stock airbox, which provides cold air anyway, just not alot of it
