Air filter comparison

I searched the archives but didn't find anything like this:

What is everyone's experience with aftermarket air filters? Are cone filters the least restrictive vs. box type? If so, which ones have you tried?

thanks

They're easily less restrictive than the stock air box type, the only problem that comes with an oper air filter is the possibility of all that air you're drawing in being some hot air from the engine bay. This is why you should either create/buy a cold air box to put around the filter, or make a cold air intake system. That is the only way to get the best results from an open air filter, but as far as better flow there's no contest. I personally use the Bonez Street/Comp Intake from RX7.com

thanks!

Do you think your system is better than keeping the stock airbox with a K&N filter?
